The J. H. Roe & Co. building was a mercantile store built in 1904 in the town of Tigerville, SC. The sheet metal facade included two spun and soldered finials with decorative cornice corbels, bearing a floret design. Only one original finial corbel existed, requiring the construction of a plaster mold which was poured with layers of epoxy resin. Both pieces were then sanded, primed, and painted, later installed by the remodeling contractor.
